A Productive City Garden
The brief for this garden was to create an interesting outdoor space for a new build property. The new garden needed to incorporate an existing paved seating area and path along the side of the house., plus a wayleave that prevented any planting or construction over it.
A lawn was a must along with an area for herbs and vegetable production and also a flower border for colour.
The owners were very busy professionals who didn’t want to spend all their spare time gardening, so the garden had to be fairly low maintenance as well.
This site was also made difficult because there had been poor quality top soil added to the garden area by the developers and so contaminants such as glass where present.
